I didn’t just build GlideScale Pro as a doctor - I built it as someone who needed it.

For years, I struggled with my weight. Living with PCOS and insulin resistance meant that no matter how disciplined I was, lasting results felt just out of reach. Like many others, I turned to GLP-1 medication for support. And while it helped, I quickly realised something was missing: a companion.

There was no app that helped me track the unique ups and downs of being on a GLP-1; no way to monitor side effects, track my blood glucose as well as my weight, or stay accountable in a way that felt personalised and empowering.

As a GP with an interest in lifestyle medicine, I knew how powerful the right support could be. As a patient, I knew how isolating the journey could feel. So, I decided to build what I couldn’t find.

GlideScale Pro is more than just a tracker—it’s the app I wish I had when I started my journey. It’s designed to support people using GLP-1 medications with smart tracking and produce vital data reports for your health practitioner. Importantly, the mobile app (due to launch later this year) will enable us to stay connected and support one another on our journey.
